Back to square one. My upgrade from milleniumm to win 2000 pro failed. This is what I want to do. I have an old hard drive that is partitioned exactually in half. I want to transfer only one of the partitions to the new drive. How do I do this.
Any assistance appreciated
Thanks😱

DriveCOpy 4.0 will do that easily . . . copy a single partition from one drive to another. The best way to use it is to prepare the bootable diskettes and run it that way . . . independent of any OS. Handles NTFS as well as FATs and mixes thereof. It is cheaper than Ghost and, I think, easier to use.

I have a copy of norton ghost mind you an older copy. It works great for copying an entire disk but I only want one partition off that disk to copy over. Any ghost users out there?
thanks

Powerquest's Drive Image will do that. Also, if you have a Maxtor or WD HD anywhere in that PC, you can get the free software they have and use it to copy paritiitions over between drives-plus it is free.

one drive is a wd but it wouldn't let me copy for one drive to the other for some undesclosed reason🙁
