Data recovery...

One day, I turn on my computer, and every document in my My Documents folder is gone. Almost everything in my Windows ME folder is gone. I'm thinking it was a virus, but I ran McAffe and it didn't detect anything. Luckily I had XP and ME dual booting...anyway, I downloaded a file recovery demo program, and it found my files. I can't pay the $85 bucks for the full program, so I was wondering if you guys know of anything that is free and will recover my files. (Or something cheaper than $85) Thanks.

Try zdnet.com and type in 'data recovery' in their free downloads section. There are a bunch which are free/tryware.
