Data Recovery programs

I need something to get data back from an FAT disk, and something freeware. If it makes any difference, it's a USB "thumbdrive" that i need it for.

I've tried GetDataBack NTFS, and it shows the contents, but I don't want to pay $70 for a program that i'm going to use only once.

sorry, but I forgot to update. I tried out PC Inspector File Recovery (no, I didn't read this post before trying it out, I saw it on download.com while doing a search) and I must say it did it a good job. I got back what I needed.

I'll put the program in the freeware post.
