Data on GPT drive missing

I am using a 3TB drive in WinXP x32, and the drive was working fine as one large partition using Paragon's GPT loader. Drive was used for storage, and I had not used the drive for a while (still running in the computer, though), and today noticed all folders/data disappeared, only thing left is two folders with random numbers, one 25 characters long and another 8-4-4-4-12 characters long. The drive does show that out of 2.72TB, 300GB are used. If I run Recuva I can still see the files. Wondering if anyone is familiar what might have gone wrong and what options are here. Thanks.
