I keep getting this error when I try to copy certain files from a DVD. When I try to play those certain files off the dvd instead, the videos take a while to load up and at certain points it totally lags or even freezes. Is this a problem with my DVD or DVD drive? I had this happen to other dvds as well.

Aside from a damaged DVD, this can also be caused by an unstable overclock (data getting corrupted in RAM or while getting transferred from the drive, which leads to a bad CRC or just flat-out corrupted files). You might want to try memtest and/or Prime95 to test for stability, and/or backing your OC down.
