haha.. nice.. but i believe it was lore pretending to be data.. i think..

edit: dude, i just hella geeked myself out... sh!t

Wrong episode. I believe it is Data. But I can't remember for sure. Lore only impersonated Data in one episode I believe, and this isn't from that one.

It could be one of the eps where he's got the emotion chip and is finding out what anger or frustration is like.

I'm thinking that...or when he first gets it and Lore tries to control him.

sadly i just watched the episode where this comes from the other day. Troi, O'Brien, Data, and Riker go to the moon of some planet and get hit by some sort of EMP. This transfers the "souls" of some prisoners from a penal colony that were on that moon into their bodies (all except Riker, he broke his arm during it and pain somehow keeps the soul out of their bodies). They start to take over the ship, hilarity ensues. They never really mention exactly how this can effect Data, but he's a badass in that episode, picks up Picard by the throat and almost kills him. Almost kills Worf too.

I remember that one now. They had to use one of those triangle transport boosters to get back to the ship and the others jumped into them just before the transport beam fired.

LOL, worthy of bump.

<stupid question>
If Data is a robot, why doesn't he interface with the computer system wirelessly instead of going thru a physical keyboard interface.
</stupid question>
