Like all data centers, wiring is a horror story for me, we dont have room to use trays overhead, so under the floor was the way to go.
unfortunately our racks look like sh*t, and it is a pain to add and remove new stuff:

I ended up finding a new solution through our wiring guys:

This thing rocks, you can put two 48 port 2U patch panels in it, for a total of 96 ports.

SaigonK, definitely a step in the right direction, but it would have been better if the panels could be in a rack. This thing blocks some air flow, though I guess as long as it's along the direction the air's supposed to be flowing in it's no biggie.

I guess the the 2 cut out on the raise floor is for patch cords to connect to the patch panel. Once you have all 48/96 patch cable connected, won't it still look like spagetti?

We are going to go with custom cut cables, that way there is little or no slack to worry about.

Also, it wont block a ton of air since it has two large holes on each side for flow.
