We're in the market for software to model our data center. I currently maintain a series of Visio drawings detailing cabinets as well as the floor plans, but it's not really meeting our needs the way it looks like some of this specialized software could.
Specifically, we're looking at Avocent's Data Center Planner, and just today my boss came across iTracs (http://www.itracs.com) - looks like it may have some promise as well.
Does anyone have any experience, positive or negative with either of these products or a similar solution?
