Data acquisition

Hello everyone, sorry for my english
with xp and 7, I have the following problem:
use a data acquisition board, sometimes, it blocks the acquisition and is always in conjunction with the disk writes caused by the operating system. Does anyone know how to minimize these interventions OS?
