<< Read an article a month or two back that some mothers in Japan give their sons oral sex as motivation to do better in school. >>
haha! YUCK! Though, I wouldn't exclude the possibility, the Japanese are rather obsessive about a few things; academic performance in particular.
In U.S. high schools, athletes get all the girls. In Japan, the geeks with the 4.0 GPA (or Japanese equivalent) get all the girls. This stark difference in priorities is reflected in our world academic performance ranking.
In the U.S., mothers knock-off their daughter's competitors so they will get a spot on the cheerleading squad. In one of those Asian countries, I forget which, mothers knock-off one of their kid's competitors so they will get a spot in the best academic institutions.
Again, this difference in priorities is reflect in our world academic performance ranking. ;-)
<< "Experts in sexual abuse at the Children's Advocacy Center in Covington interviewed the boy and concluded he had been raped repeatedly by his mother, Tate said." >>
Yeah, I bet they did. The older I get, the more I realize these 'experts' don't have a clue...
In Detroit, five different 'experts' were brought in to examine/evaluate the children in a case after the mother accused the father in a divorce hearing of sexually abusing their children; two experts for the mother concluded they were abused, two experts for the father concluded they weren't abused. The fifth 'expert', a neutral party appointed by the court, concluded the children had been so screwed-up and warped by these 'experts', who subjected them to medical examinations to look for anal or vaginal scarring, and were coached by one or both sides, that it was now impossible to know the truth.
