I checked my stats this morning and they were lacking some units so I pulled up both of my queues and one showed that the crack rack had not turned in a result for over 16 hours :| I ran into work where I house my rack and found that the power had been knocked out long enough to drain the UPS that I put in to prevent this from happening. Apparently power was off for more than 2 hours :Q

I hate Reliant Energy! That's 7 XP 1800s for 16 hours means 28 WUs gone!!! :|

🙁
Sorry to hear of your troubles Crazee.
I am on rural electric, which is prone to brown outs and inconsistancy. The battery back ups are great little devices, I have 4 in the house. But for those rare times of more than a few minutes of power outage, they usually arent up to the task. Ah well, maybe add another node to the rack to help make yourself feel better....

I feel your pain, Crazee. Those of use who live in W Central FL know power outages very well. One of them tried to get me this weekend but (luckily?) I was in the building to take care of the outage. 😛

I take it that your rack is housed in Houston. I was spared from the blackouts that left 100,000 people without power Saturday. Bad street flooding on the west side and galleria area. You're right though, chronicle said that the power was out in some areas for as long as three and half hours.
