Need help selecting a video camera designed for mounting in cars. I'd like to spend no more than $100. I don't trust that the $30 or less ones on Amazon are good quality. Please recommend one to me for close to $100.

Unhesitatingly, GoPro! You can use it for things you haven't even thought of yet. http://gopro.com/ Wait a month and save the other $99.
