Darwin out / Creationism In

love to see them balance round world flat world too😛
and balance the theory of relativity with law of 0roo0roo controls the world through the power of his nose hairs.

A good movie I saw recently (found on a P2P network) was just called "The Fall of Atheism". I am a hard nosed evolutionist... but that movie brought up some good points and facts about the boundaries of inter-breeding and genetic mutations. Of course all the studies are extremely short compared to the history of the world...

It's still a good show to make you think a little more.

You might be pushing the needle into the red...

This might stir up a hornet's nest, but there are a few respected scientists out there who don't agree with Darwin. I watched a video in my HS Bio class (oh, about 10 years ago), that a university professor completely disproved evolution without ever using the Bible or the word God. It was all scientific fact. Such as the amount of dust on the moon (suggests that the moon is 6-7000 yrs old), the rotational rate of the earth (gradually slowing down. if you go back 1 million years, everything would have flown off), the size of the sun (gradually shrinking. if you go back a couple million years, the earth would be inside the sun), and a few others (can't remember, it's been too long). The guy ended by offering anyone $10,000 if they could provide hard scientific evidence that evolution actually occurred. As far as I know, he still has the 10 grand.

respected by their children, friends and neighbors doesn't count....

You college professor did not disprove anything, he merely pointed out some scientific curiosities that have been debunked over and over. Still, I would love to see that video and discuss it!

I am just amazed at the belief of evolution. To believe the highest form of being on the planet some how evolved from a lesser form of mammal like a ape is just plain stupid. Not to mention we still have apes and monkeys still running around. I guess those monkeys didn't get the email.

so the fact that we share 98 percent of the exact same dna as chimpanzees is just a coincidence?

House cats carry 98% of the same dna as Lions, but they are not f'in Lions. I'll tell you what, go to the local zoo and talk to the apes or monkeys, I'll let you choose. Give them the message that you believe in them and that you want them to quit fooling around and make the change. Let me know how you make out. 😛

we also share 98% of the same DNA as a Aloe Vera plant. its that 2% that makes the difference.

If your that ignorant to believe in evolution, then suit yourself. They say one is one every minute, I guess your proof of one of those minutes 😛

Sad to see something like this in this day & age 🙁 Two steps forward, one step back, the saying goes... One hell of a backward step though.

..irony at its finest.

Ms Colic, an Orthodox Christian, did not dispute that her beliefs had influenced her decision.

"It is normal that a minister's personality leaves a mark", she said. "This is my mark and time will tell if I was right."

I'm glad she doesn't run my school system.

How do creationists explain extinct species, and extinct precursors to humans... like neanderthals, australopithacines and homo erectus? Were they animals without feelings or souls, or are we derivatives of them? Are their fossil records witchcraft and shenanegans?

aw, look, it's a creationist getting all flustered.

What is to explain? Evolution and Creationism are not in conflict, only the ignorant and the fanatic believe they are. It is quite possible that evolution is the means that God used to create the world, extinct species, fossils, and all. Why not?

obviously everyone is going to have their own opinion, so why does everyone have to talk about how theirs is right an someone else's is wrong? what it comes down to is that we are all here now, and at one point in time the ball had to exist and get rolling, whether someone believes it was a big bang or an all powerful god is that persons choice. it's stupid just to toss someone else's belief aside because you don't think the same way, they could have a valid point, or even a valid reason for believing what they do.
