darwin and osx

everyone knows the heart of osx is darwin. indeed you can go get your own darwin distribution over here. i'm wondering if you can actually load darwin on your mac, and then copy the osx specific files over to your darwin system. would that work?

I'm pretty sure you can recompile the kernel using those sources and move it over to a Mac OS X machine and have it work just fine.
