I drive my son to school and on those January and February mornings when the temperature is below freezing with a slight breeze I don't mind in the least that we have cats. Watching people walking fido in subfreezing temps along with a bag to clean up afterwards makes me all the more grateful that I am in a warm car.

Cats = Low Maintenance

Wimp! I live about 150 miles from you and it was like 16 degrees here when you posted.

The only problem with such cold weather is it takes so long to put my d*ck warmer on before I go outside.

Well, try standing in your work clothes at a dog park for a hour. If it was -20F, I would have sent him to an indoors doggie daycare.

I went running lastnight outside and the cold didn't bother me but then I was dressed appropriately and also exercising.

And you darn westerners sent this our way. Now it's reached Ottawa. :\ However, it's only about 0F, thanks to the warmth emanating from all the bullshit produced in Parliament by the Conservatives. ;)

Last week it was -36F with a -71F windchill. The windchill is the coldest I've ever experienced, and I'll tell you it isn't fun.

Last week we had -45F, with -55 or -60 windchill.

Today is a balmy 5 degrees though.

-27 here. About average temp for this time of year. I walked outside with no coat to go mail a bill. Was a little cold, glad it was not too far. :p

This winter is pretty much like the last two in MN. Mild Fall followed by bitter cold right at the start of December. Though today we are going to hit the low to mid 20s for highs. It has been single digits all week.

It is supposed to get down in the low 40s overnight tonight...brrr. I may have to turn the heat on. :p

Right now, at 7:16PM, it is 57 degrees outside.

It's supposed to be 16 overnight Saturday with a 5 degree (F) windchill factor. Going camping - spending the night outdoors in a lean-to in the middle of a forest; no tent, just a sleeping bag. :)
