With the demise of THQ and selling off its game assets, what is to become of this game? Is this possibly the last sale on this series or will it fall even further into the sub $5 arena in the near future?

I am tempted to buy it at $10 but I can wait if it will go lower.

I would easily buy it for 10$.....I got so much gameplay out of that game...it's huge compared to the first. I logged 82hrs in steam compared to 42hrs for Darksiders....and its a fun game.

THQ's assets got sold off to other companies. In the case of Darksiders, a company called Nordic Games bought the rights to it (among other THQ IPs). So all sales of Darksiders I and II go to them. I'm sure they'll be plenty more sales of it in the future and it will get down to the $5 area at some point.

Well, it was already part of a humble bundle so it'll be hard to beat that again. The real question is, is it really worth saving five measly bucks over if you think there's a chance it won't be on sale again?

I get what you are saying. I have other games I can play, the $5 is whether I need to play it now or wait. :\
