Darkness Error

I recently upgraded from a 7600. Upon installation I tried to run Half Life 2: Episode 2, and the picture is very dark. I have the latest driver. I have check the card itself. It is connected to the PCI port correctly, and the 6 pin power outlet is connected. Any suggestions?

Is this only in game? Does it do it with any other games? Have you tried just bumping up the gamma>?

yes HL2 is the only game with issue
Oh and the gamma is as high as it gets

did you set the gamma in game as well as the one in nvidia control panel?

I havent done that, but i dont think that is the problem. Other games work just fine. HL2 EP2 is the only game with the problem. When i get to my comp i will check it.
