Darker coolant in a day?

Hello there everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has ever had their coolant go dark in just a day. I set up the loop and ran the leak test for over 12 hours. When I came back I noticed the coolant was a whole lot darker than before. Is it possible I didn't bleed the loop properly and somehow the oxygen in the loop is messing with the color? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I actually ordered 2 red cathodes with my loop and it turns out they were a very bright orange. I was pretty upset because now I have 2 orange cathodes just sitting in a box. Anyway, if the color stays dark I may have to invest in some lighting for my case.

Is the color of the coolant in the tubing darker than it is in the reservoir?

No, it is the same color. The only difference is the reservoir has a UV cathode to light up the helix so the color might be a LITTLE bit brighter but it is still darker than before. Honestly, as long as there is no performance issue or a risk of some sort, I can live with just getting some red lighting in my case.

Probably it won't affect performance in any way. I don't like to use colored coolant or dyes as I worry it might gunk or stain some of the parts. I only use distilled + silver coil, if I need some color, I would spend on colored tubing instead.

Yeah I totally regret buying this coolant. But now I'm stuck with it so I got to live with it for some time :\ For my next loop, I'll definitely stick with distilled+PTNuke and some nice red tubing.
