That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the thread title.
Coincidentally, I just watched the first episode again yesterday.
 
I know I am digging up an old thread but, I just saw this movie today on DVD.

Maybe I was in the mood for this movie but I really enjoyed it. I would classify this movie to have stronger drama elements then horror.

FYI this is a remake of a Japanese horror movie (like ring and grudge). It isn't really that scary but I liked the story and the acting was good. I would recommend it. Most certainly NOT the worst movie of 2005 (not the best either).
