Dark Spot in 2 laptops

On two identical model laptops they have a nickel size dark spot in the middle bottom of the LCD screens. I cannot get it to come out, I tried rubbing for 5 min to no avail. When they were 30 deg F the spots were double the size, but after they warmed up, they are nickel size. This forum does not seem to allow picture uploads.
