As a DIE HARD pc person.. get it on a console unless you use a gamepad. The unofficial patchs make it look good and play good on a PC, but its just not a mouse and keyboard game. GREAT GAME though..

so anybody confirm if it still works now that LIVE is gone (or going)?

I can confirm when I get home in like 2 and a half hours. Great price for it though. If anyone grabs it, make sure you get the DSFix, otherwise, it is pretty much a straight port (which was only done because fans petitioned Namco Bandia for it).

I don't think it is terrible on kb/mouse once you get the DSFix, however, it is definitely made with a controller in mind (as From Software is a console developer and this was their first PC game).

It works out of the box with kb/mouse, it just wasn't designed with those at all in mind, so they are wonky at best. There is an unofficial patch that fixes these issues (as well as the fixed rendered resolution).

PC Version is the way to go what with all the mods, enhanced textures, no fps issue (otherwise you'd want to kill someone when playing in blight town) and way faster loading times
