Dark Reign2, my toughts

Hi guys...

Been playing it for an evening and... well I am not impressed. It feels almost like Ground Control, only not as good. If you do have GC... do yourself a favour and stay away from it. There are to many little things I enjoy about the controlls in GC that I ended up missing in DR2.

Looking back on my purchase I wished I didn't spend the 36$ it cost me...

When Dark Reign 1 came out it was overshadowed by most other RTS games. History repeats! Lots of people say Ground Control is better. The last RTS I played was Age of Empires and that was fun for a week or two but the stupid unit AI really annoyed me. That plus the constant clicking on a million things (designers call that "challenge&quot bugged me so much I uninstalled it.

I won't play another RTS until somebody innovates and that won't happen until RTS sales start doggin'. Of course if they dog too much they'll just quit the genre like flight sims.
