Every other time I boot my machine, the screen comes up with a dark red cast, almost as if the green and blue channels aren't working. Actually it can boot a few times ok or a few times with the red but it's mostly every other time.
The boot screen will come up with red writing, the windows boot screen will be full color, the the log on and post log on screens will be red. If it's going to boot with the correct colors, the boot screen will have white writing then the windows boot scree will be red!!! but once started will look fine.
My system also is constantly finding a phanton monitor.

Intel DH67CL mobo (I've tried onboard graphics disabled, enabled and auto)
ATI Radeon HD 5570 graphics card
Doublesight Monitor (I've tried their driver and a generic PnP one)
