Could we please get a dark mode setting/switch option?

And I just wonder if its possible to get an option or two for more contrasty colour schemes.

I like the new look myself. Ditch the sidebar, or at least make it useful, and it'll be almost perfect. Dark theme also of course, but I have an addon that darkens sites without the option, so not a huge deal for me personally.
 
The "Trending" sidebar is utterly worthless. It always has been, but since someone is actively twiddling knobs, now's a great time to get rid of it. How "trending" can something be when the *newest* post is almost two years old?

Not sure where you see two years old. The oldest post, across all of those threads is Feb 22, 2026. That's a week old, not 2 years.
 
I was mistaken. It displays the start date, and not the end date. Oh well. Sometimes you're wrong. I still don't have much use for a sidebar.

One other thing going on: the forum's clock isn't correct. I'll post something and it will immediately say that it was posted 41 minutes ago (I checked, and my profile's time zone is set correctly).
 
I'm not a fan of the new dark mode. The bolded text looks very similar to the normal text.

Is there a way to make the sticky "thumbtacks" appear on the left side of topic titles? It's difficult and time consuming trying to visually find and skip over the sticky threads when looking for normal threads. We read left to right so it makes sense that a sticky indicator is the first thing we see when looking at a top title.
