Dark Messiah:MM.exe stopped working error

Can someone help me with this? I get it right before the startup screen would pull up were you could load your game. I have tried setting compatibility to Xp sp2 but no help. I have a Gefore 6800 Ultra running ForceWare Release 158 Version: 158.18 and Vista Ultimate

Was it working before/at all? What changed? New driver? Windows update?

Have you tried reinstalling the game over the old install? It should give a Repair or REMOVE option...

I get the error too times to time. Played the game for about 2 hours, got the error 3 times. I think its just compatability issue with vista.
