No the NRA will say that the fact that he hasn't proposed any such legislation in his first term is proof of an effort to lure us into a false sense of security so that he can do it in his second term.

So the fact he hasn't done it is proof he is going to do it. Makes sense to me

After seeing the movie I thought it was some stretch of paranoia to connect Bane to Bain or link Romney's Bain to WWW zipper lip Bane. Bane had nothing to do with the economy. Bain had nothing to do with Batman.

But..... did anyone notice in the movie when Bane was giving his big long speech on the steps of city hall (or what ever that was) that Bane's voice sounded JUST LIKE Rush Limbaugh's voice????
Especially when Rush is on a rant about something. The way Bane's voice goes from high to low and the way Bane pronounces his words sounded just like Rush.
That was surprising and seemed more of a deliberate evil movie character vs real life evil radio talk show host connection.

Well Bane did outsource his evil. Bane was pretty much not that scary. Overweight guy with man boobs and a speech impediment. Even batgirl got the better of him. Every time Bane flexed his muscle it was thru his little gang. Bane, outsourcing evil. Bain, outsourcing period. Kinda just like you know who.
Well if the show fits.... as they say.
Bane, outsourcing. Rush Limbaugh voice. Sounds like a match.
No wonder Rush is on a rant.
I wonder if Bane had a prescription drug addiction as well?

After watching the movie it was NOT a conspiracy especially since I knew that Bane goes back around 15-20 years. I would say the movie supports Capitalism more then socialism, in the movie they try to steal from the rich and give it to the poor but everyone is miserable with so much control and no Freedom.

I'd say the movie supports moderation. The decadence of Gotham is what lead the League of Shadows to choose it. The greed of one guy that coveted control of Wayne Industries helped allow Bane to do what he did. When the "opressed" (criminals) took over the city, the other extreme occurred and it was chaos and anarchy. I'd say it also promotes cooperation of opposing ideologies. Because once Batman and Catwoman were willing to work together, they were able to accomplish more and save the city.
