Dark Age of Camelot on 8500

My current Radeon 32MB DDR is a bit slow in this game so I'm going to buy either a Ti200 or a 8500. There is one image quality issue that I have with my current Radeon and I'm wondering if it still exists in the 8500. With my Radeon in the foggy distance in DAOC there is a snowy effect. Its the same snowy effect that was in the sky in Asheron's Call. It doesn't look especially bad, but it doesn't look good either. Does the 8500 have this image quality issue?

Looks great on my Vtek GF3! =]

I was playing on one server and one of the people in the group was using the radeon and having issues, they had to keep logging out and in!
I would check the tech support forums to make sure no one is havign the issue with the 8500 before dumping cash into one!

i dont see it? and i have a radeon 8500

Anyawys with the geforce 3 u would have to use the 12.41 drivers (if u are using windows 2000 that is) because if you use the det 4s it crashes your system after u leave the game. I think iheard this is fixed in the 12,88 beta drivers but not sure 😛

While I havent personlly seen it, I've heard other report that it's been fixed in the R8500.
