not too hot, as you need the new expansions beyond that to be able to play and enjoy the game fully.

DAOC platinum edition and DAOC gold both include this expansion already, and i dont even think you can buy the game without expansions bundled anymore (this was the 1st expansion) hence... the incredibly cheap price.

Yes, this is now the BASE you need to play the game. They have done away with the graphics engine of the base install and are using the SI engine for everything now. They used to have a Download w/ a 14-day trial that's what got me hooked back when.

To fully play, you will need: ToA exp, Cats exp = $60
and $$/mo = $13-$15

I cut myself off cold turkey and sold my accounts after 16 months of playing. It's nice to see the sun again.

such a shame as it was engrossing and really fun.

On July 12th (for existing players) and July 14th (for new ones), they are opening up 2 new servers which will not have ToA implemented, and will also feature ranged buffs. Something I've been looking forward to for a while.
