So I picked up the full version last night. So far I'm happy. Visuals are good, action is great, and I like the overall theme/story. Then again, I am a sucker for 3rd person action games with limited RPG elements (e.g., GOW, Darksiders, Conan, Ninja Gaiden series, DMC), so I am probably a bit biased towards that gnere.

Not sure its worth $60 for some people. But I am happy with my purchase, and that is saying something (when you consider that I've not been happy with ~85% of my game purchases over the last 2 years).

I got this from Gamefly yesterday and I'm very glad I didn't buy it. The combat is alright I guess but I don't really care about Dante at all. I'm only about 1hr in and he seems like such a forgettable character. The cutscenes still feel very random with their mix of different animation types. Maybe I'm nitpicking but it's not a bad game, just not an amazing one like I was expecting.

I just beat inferno (360) and I thought it was fantastic. I enjoyed the different mix of animation types in telling the story. The combat felt good. There was a good mix of enemies. The relics and magic upgrades added a nice element as well.

Played the PS3 demo this weekend. Seemed like a pretty good game, but not one I would pay full price for. Might pick it up used or if I find a good sale some time.

I got around to trying the demo and it was a fun game and visually impressive but the lack of camera control was really pissing me off when I was fighting Death.

I think I'll give it a rent though or buy it used down the road.

Is there enough time/gameplay/souls to go full unholy AND holy or should I pick a tree and stick to it? Trying to not ruin anything by going to gamefaqs.com...

Seriously? I think the game guides you to the first one automatically but they look like statues made of stone.
i found them. i must have skipped over the spot where it tells you what they are. for being such a GOW clone.. kind of feels different and fun to play.

Got this game from goozex, and HOLY CRAP this game is awesome. I played through it once on classic mode in 2 sittings (friday and Saturday night). Now I am going through again, because the graphics, gameplay, everything about the game is killer. Its got me hooked, and need to find more games by Visceral games. Can't wait to see more from this title.
