He was kicked off of A&M's football team for undisclosed reasons back in the day.

I thought he played well at A&M. Well enough that it hurt when he got kicked off. I'd seen him on campus a few times. He was surprisingly short.

Well, what do you expect? He's older and in better shape, has better players around him, he had no where to go but up.

edit: And A&M is sucking so much ass this season. Rebuilding is a euphemism for "we're gonna lose a lot of games."

Bah, sports. I thought you wanted to talk about Dante's Inferno, but couldn't spell Inferno, so took a shot at Hell, but screwed that up too and spelt it Hall.

I didn't get that game here. Is it true that there was a block (by #44) in the back that helped him to run back that kickoff?

I started Dante Hall at wide receiver in my fantasy league 4 weeks ago because i wanted guranteed points on return yards, even though i couldn't get any touchdown points from him. Now for 4 weeks in a row he's my highest scorer. Gonna try to trade him for an elite runningback.

Their defense was gutted as most of them were seniors last year. This year they do suck, but IMHO they should be legit contenders by Reggie McNeal's senior year.

Yeah we suck now.... we held on to RC a few years too long.

They're about to show replays of it on Sportscenter.

Dante Hall was hilarious in his post game interview. When talking about his run back and running back to the 2 yard line: "I got dumber and dumber and dumber." :D

Why was he kicked off the Aggies team?

Why was he kicked off the Aggies team?

They never said. In the school paper it just said something about him not showing up to practice for a few days, then it came out that he was kicked off.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) -- Dante Hall, Texas A&M's leading rusher the past two seasons but injured much of this season, was dismissed from the team by coach R.C. Slocum on Monday.

"It's just for violations of team policy," Slocum said. "I won't elaborate on it, but he is dismissed from the team."

Hall said he thinks he may have been ousted for parking violations.

"He called me out at Sunday's team meeting about a parking spot," he told The Bryan-College Station Eagle. "I think there was more behind it but that was the subject. He was going over tucking your shirt tail in and doing all the little things and then he got on me about parking.

"I had parked right here in this spot, a reserved spot in front of Cain Hall, and he was like, 'I've told you before about parking there."'

Slocum said it's unlikely Hall would play in the Aggies' final two games against Missouri and Texas or any bowl game.

"He did not practice yesterday afternoon and he's not on the team at this time and I don't anticipate him being back on the team," Slocum told the newspaper. "There would have to be some real big changes take place for that to even be a possibility."

The action came two days after the Aggies lost 37-0 to Nebraska, knocking them out of the top 25. A&M had 2 yards rushing in the game; Hall had one of them on one carry.

Hall, who had just three carries in the last five games, finishes the season with 179 yards and two touchdowns on 53 attempts. He also caught five passes for 59 yards.

Hall is the only player in school history with more than 2,000 career rushing yards and over 500 yards in both career punt return and kickoff return yards.

He had 1,024 yards rushing as a junior and 973 as a sophomore. He was the Big 12 freshman of the year in 1996 after rushing for 642 yards and gaining a school-record 573 yards on punt returns.

Hall said he planned to speak with the coach Tuesday about his dismissal.

"I'm gonna go up there to Slocum's office and clear it all up tomorrow and pack up and go home," he said.

He was kicked off because he had an attitude problem.... He got a few parking tickets on campus and RC told him to watch it, he didnt and got a few more. Then RC called him out infront of the whole team about teh parking tickets and he didnt like that and quit or left or whatever happened.
