Just another indication -- and we've had plenty -- that Trump is maliciously absent some healthy brain features.

-- He ignores the lessons of the Past, particularly regarding tariffs
-- He can't accept the logic that lowering rates will increase inflation, particularly on the heels of the tariffs
-- He can't imagine a government with independent working parts, each functioning to minimize risk and improve the overall outcome

This is scary stuff. What's Powell's expected tenure on the Federal Reserve Board, and as Chairman?
 
He's already devalued the dollar and dramatically weakened the strength of US treasuries. He wants to put someone in there who is incompetent like all his other appointments, who's going to slash interest rates willy-nilly and completely put the nail in the coffin of the American economy and the value of the dollar.

I say let's get it over with.

In some ways i think this is the only way to dethrone trump.

Throwing people into gulags in another country clearly hasnt caused enough of an outrage yet
 
From what I can tell Powell’s job is being reported as having been made far more difficult because of the Narcissist in Chief. That, if believe by serious people could create criticism of America’s God, a heretical act demanding burning at the stake.

Trump seeks absolute power. To complete his utter destruction of the American Democracy. To replace it with his American Empire.
The Fed is one of the few institutions that remain standing, for now.

MAGA's next and most immediate move will be to blame Powell for literally everything to do with the economy.
Propaganda will be raised and echoed 24/7 calling for a lynch mob against the Fed.
Anything the Emperor wants destroyed, MAGA will rally for the destruction of.

Yep. Agreed. He just has to destroy the whole thing, and the economic thing is how it has to happen. I say just rip the band-aid off and let this guy destroy the dollar and our economy and get it over with so we can potentially move on from him.

The polls are showing a very real shift in Hispanics, and things are just getting started.

The polls are showing that Trump’s econ numbers are already horrible, and things are just getting started.

I think people underestimate how wild things are going to get in a very short amount of time.

Waiting till midterms is probably too long. Certainly the next presidential election is too long.
 
As soon as Trump ousts Powell and installs whatever dumb Muppet he's planning on -That's it for the US dollar. That's it for US currency. And that's it for the US being the world reserve currency.

The 2026 midterms are a million years away if you put things into context of the last 90 days. At this point I think it's just best to remove Jerome and let Trump just finish the job faster than dragging this out even longer.

I'm rooting for Trump here

The problem is this is his last term and wants to burn everything to the ground out of spite. Literally even the supreme court can't stop him.
I'm not a religious person but if you are interested look up Jeremiah 7:20. He thinks he is god.
