Hi all.

I just build a new system.

Asus pt6, i7920(d0), HIS48701g. 6 gig OCZ 1600 ddr3.

I was using the stock cooler until the bracket fo my Core Contact Cooler came in. I installed it last night. I did what I consider a mild OC for this system the CPU is at 3.7 g stock volt. I wanted to test the stability of the setup using occt. The test did not finish due to CPU temp being too high.

I am Idle at 50c. The cooler worked great on my AMD set up. I reseated the cooler, it's on as tight as it can be. I just can't believe 50c idle is good.

That being said. What do you all think about the DD water cooling kits?

I'm looking at this one DD Kit

Can I do better buying parts? Any Other suggestions? I am only planning on cooling the CPU for now.

Thanks
JimC

Thank's I did read it. I am looking at putting together a setup myself. I was interested in a kit type of setup so that I would get all the things I need.

I have but together a few items.

CPU Block hk 3.0 lc
pump ST 355 or 655
black ice radiator - make a suggestion here I have a 120 panflow fan that I'll use
tubing and connectors- pretty much standard-
reservoir- could use a suggestion here too.

Thanks
