DANG -- you guys seen this?

I find it funny how easy artist make these things look.

That's just amazing that he did that with spray paint.

yeah I thought he was just goofing off doing something really stupid by layering different colors on top of eachother with a layer of black on top! Wow that's amazing

There is also a guy here in Austin that does(did?) those on 6th st. on the weekends. I have one of his paintings around here somewhere.

Awesome technique. I love how fast they have to work.

I saw a guy in Vegas that does this, over on the walkway between the Excalibur and the New York New York. It was really cool to watch.

I'm pretty sure they sped up the video a little.

And is he just using regular paper and his hands to absorb the top layer of paint? I'm confused what he's doing there.

He's layering wet paint on top of eachother, then he takes the paper and it unevenly pulls off different layers. That's how he's getting the textured look.

Heh. At first it was like, What th ehell is that supposed ot be. But then he picked up the 2 pots or whateve theyw ere and it became incredibly cool.

If any of you guys are in San Francisco, check out the spray paint artists by fisherman's wharf. Very cool show, especially when he starts using his spray can as a flame thrower 😀

There's a guy that does this in Montreal on Ste-Catherine near McGill College, he also lights up the painting at one point.. really cool.
