I know that joining a noob game of 1500's sounds like a good idea when you start...but really when you play your first games of HoN you must understand you will be completely useless, especially if you've never played dota... You should run through the tutorial or just make a game for you to learn what happens and how to shop, maybe test out a hero or 2 and learn their abilities.

Those kids in the 1500 noob only games may suck, but at least they almost have an understanding of what is going on and they will be rude... just ignore them and continue to play until you don't suck as much... It's just like learning any new online game; you will be bad, but in these types of games you're stuck with your team mates until the game is over (unlike a quick game of <insert FPS game here> where you can server hop as much as you want)

Good luck and enjoy the game... If anyone wants to hit me up my in game name is Giznad, currently playing odd hours due to living in China, but oh well... if ya see me on we can do some matchmaking games!

Honestly it tends to be a lot of people not truly deep into DotA early on so I didn't get yelled at when I was learning. From what I have heard HoN is for people really into DotA games so most know how to play right off the bat and are abusive toward new players. At least I've never been yelled at for doing something sumb in a LoL match and I'm pretty bad.

Dude Lol is kinda noob, then again I'm not very far (level 6 maybe?) and I'm not putting in time to learn all the details of each char lol. But I think that is because I'm not very far into it.

I used to play like 3-4+ hours of Dota a night, 4-6 nights a week, for several years, so maybe HON is more for me. But HON costs money, and from the sound of it, the community might be crashing ;) If I buy into another dota game, I want one that has a real community that will stay behind it the same way Dota All Stars did. Dota2 perhaps?

Who is tauren chieftain? Earth shaker?

He's definitely in HoN. There's a hybrid version of SP/Dazzle in HoN.

Tormented Soul is definitely in Hon, he's "torturer."

Yep. People who played DOTA and actually enjoyed it will end up enjoying HoN.

I wish they would make heroes a lot faster though. They should just port all the heroes over. They're missing like 20 heroes that really were awesome. They still don't have a drow, huskar, phantom assassin, lancer, tauren chieftain, phoenix, twin head dragon, obsidian destroyer, oblivion, dark seer, invoker, goblin techies, shadow priest(dazzle), tormented soul, windrunner, panda, keeper of the light, enchantress, furion, etc.

So many heroes they need to add...

LoL is kiddy, HoN is a bit more competitive and mean. They just revamped the crap out of the game making it far superior to what it used to be.

Never played HoN but loved DoTA and play LoL on and off. I honestly have heard nothing about HoN...

LoL is played at a professional level...not sure anyone here is aware of that? Tons of players, tons of heroes. A very polished game.

No, he's not earth shaker. Tauren chieftain was a newer hero in the late game.

There are many other heroes that aren't in the game though, that's the point.

They can't add them either now because DOTA 2 has intellectual property rights and shit. So they have to make new heroes and stuff.

Fucking lame.
