I was wondering if the dance pad for Dance Dance Revolution(PSX) is available yet in the states. Anybody know?

I've played the arcade version of DDR only once, but I absolutely loved it. I'm personally hoping to become pretty good at it, but I don't want to go to an arcade to do so... I'll go to the arcade only once I am good. ;)

Have you played it? What are your thoughts?

DDR is tight man... they don't sell the pads retail but you can try egay or yahoo auctions... they sell them... or go to asia and buy them for a dollar a piece

Well, if I went to Asia, the ticket alone would cost waaayyy too much! :)

There are PC versions...two of my friends have them. Connects to the joystick port. It seems fun, but I didn't want to make a fool out of myself. Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen though...

EDIT: I might be interpreting your thread all wrong though. The first time I heard about ddr from one of my friends, I thought she was talking about ram.

I've seen them all over the place at the malls. I'm in Bay Area, CA by the way. They're not at the big stores like KB Toys or Toys R Us, but I see them at those small kiosks all the time. No need to go to asia or anything ;-)

Oh...I was talking about Dance Dance Revolution. The edit was just noting that I'm not familiar with the game, so I might be misunderstanding your original post. There is DDR (the game) for PC's. I don't know about PSX in the US.

Yup I have it. I know I can get it at the computer shows and stuff. Or if there are asian markets around. They sell for about $15-$20 at the shows. Its kinda fun, But living in an apartment, my downstairs neighbors don't like it too much. :D

I have some hard DDR pads (one piece) that I need to get rid of. I will sell them at wholesale prices. $65 each plus shipping.

Hehe -- that's funny. I haven't seen DP2 before, but it is DEFINITELY a clone. In fact, the pad that comes with it is a LOT like the PSX pad.
