I wonder if he also writes studies for the EPA?

So if Goldberg is wrong how come ALL of the major networks have shunned him. I think he is the first author that has been on the NYTimes bestseller list but never interviewed on network tv.
Also his book was not reviewed by The NY Times or The Washington Post, even though his book is either number one or close to it.
Yep, no bias here. I axekd 'em!

Because anything that doesn't agree with what the conservatives want to believe is obviously wrong or fabricated information...

You can call Bernard Goldberg a lot of things but "conservative" isn't one of them.
He's never voted for a Republican much less a conservative.

The "vast left wing conspiracy" I refer to is a direct quote from the book. Page four, second paragraph.

"It's important to know, too, that there isn't a well-orchestrated, vast left wing conspiracy in America's newsrooms. The bitter truth, as we'll see is arguably worse."

He goes on to say,
"Even though I attack liberal bias, not liberal values, I will be potrayed by some of my old friends as a right wing ideologue. Indeed, I've already faced the accusation." "When I wrote an op-ed piece for the Wall Street Journal in 1996 about liberal bias among media elites, my professional life turned upside down. I became radioactive. People I had known and worked with for years stopped talking to me.
The truth exposed?

"When a New York Post reporter asked Rather about my op-ed, Rather replied that he would not be pressured by "political activists" with a "political agenda" "inside or outside" of CBS news. The "inside" part, I think, would be me. Sadly, Dan doesn't think that any critic who utters the words "liberal bias" can be legitimate, even if that critic worked with Dan himself for two decades."

<< Rather and two producers had just driven by a checkpoint where a car bomb exploded >>

And Mrs. Skoorb flew from the US to Canada on sept 9 or 10. Did she have a close call? No.

Drive by the car and feel the blast wave as it goes off. Now THAT is a close call.

If one of my co-workers or friends made up lies about me, I would probably stop talking to him too.

Just like if I said Tiger's favorite book was The Turner Diaries, I would proabably not be taken as legitimate either, because I made it up and have no support for my false claim.

All the "proof" Goldman has is heresay. He says CBS and Dan Rather don't like conservatives, and all the good little Republicans believe it without asking any questions; they feel like they're oppressed and they're entitled to something. Whether or not CBS does or doesn't like conservatives isn't at issue. Goldman has yet to proove that their like/dislike of the group has influenced their news reporting in any way.

The only real "proof" that I've seen Goldman present was shot down by the article I provided.

Dan Blather is a retread living in the seventies. Actually, network news in general is a retread living in the seventies. I haven't had the abilty to watch CBS/NBC/ABC for six years. GAAAWWWWWDDDD am I lucky. Herr Goebells could learn a lot from the propaganda machine working here. blather would be instructor emeritus.

This whole media bias BS is just a ploy by right wingers to make their views seem mainstream.
Sure if you just look at the big 3, they might lean left newswise. But if you take a balance of big3, npr, Fox news channel, msnbc, and all the right wing propaganda talk radio, the media is pretty balanced. Of course, the right wingers want all the left wing sources to be balanced while they will continue spewing their garbage on talk radio and fox.
