Being a veteran does not grant you immunity from criticism, especially if you become a member of Congress
Why would anyone criticize Crenshaw for reminding mainstream Republicans that the military takes its oath to the Constitution, and not to Trump?
It's too bad he's taken so much criticism from mainstream Republicans for this. It seems they expect vets to violate their oaths for partisan reasons.

You call vets all sorts of names all the time on here, hypocrite.
IMO (and I might get infracted for this) the only reason that obvious troll isn't permabanned is because the forum traffic here is so low already. That the cause of that is because they've permitted an environment where intentionally dishonest speech is allowed to silence any legitimately honest speech does not appear to be under consideration.

There was a time I cared about what that man thought.

That time is long gone, but welcome back to reality all the same Dan. Let me know when he can admit his district lines are bullshit and designed to thwart democracy.

This guy is a turd in a suit. Being a vet doesn't protect you from criticism. It earns you respect for your service, and that's about it.

As well as numerous other benefits from government and businesses.

Solid lulz have been had. Bravo Steve, bravo.

Seriously though, it's pretty clear how he adopted the typical GQP asshatery when he got to town, but this admission of the truth from him should be commended. It's a step in the right direction for him. Now repeat it Mr. Crenshaw, often please. Advocating for constant war does the opposite.

Meh he'll walk it back just like Graham and McConnell since their snowflake base is so offended by facts and reality.

This is what happens in the Republican party when you utter the simplest truth about Trump.
