Ugh, what's this? Scroll down to the section about damper lines. So there are 2 visible lines on the screen of their monitors?

Every flatscreen monitor I've seen has them.

Edit: tweakmm is right, they seem to disappear after a few days.

I remember checking out a Sony monitor in CompUSA a loooong time ago, and seeing the flat screen with the camper lines on it, thinking damn that's crappy, I can see the lines on it, and it looked like it'd interfere with what you're doing...

Damn, well how visible are they? Because i stare at the screen for hours at a time while using Photoshop. This could be very annoying.

Before you buy anything, you should go down to your local shop and check out an aperture grille monitor for your own self. Some people are driven crazy by the damper wires, others don't even know they're there unless really looking for them on a very bright background. It's purely subjective, so it's just one of those things you have to check out before buying.

your best bet's to check it out at a friend's house or at a computer store.

you could go with a shadow mask monitor, but you're not going to get the quality of an ap grille monitor
