Damp hands while connecting up computer

Sorry for the strange question, but I am new to building PCs. I was unplugging/replugging the LAN cable, DVI cable, and USB cables on the back of my PC today. The back of my PC is located within a few inches of the surge protector. The PC was on at the time, since I was troubleshooting a network problem. I then turned off the PC and unplugged/replugged the power cable too.

My question is this: I had just washed my hands, and my hands were a little damp while I was unplugging/replugging stuff at the back of my PC. Do you think I might have caused some harm to my computer? They weren't dripping wet; just kind of damp (similar to if you had sweaty hands from a warm day). The PC is working fine, and I never opened up the computer case and touched anything inside. Should I be concerned that the moisture on my hands might have damaged my computer in some way?

Sorry if this sounds wierd; I'm just new to this PC building thing.

You'd be more likely to damage something with a static discharge if your hands were very dry on a dry, windy day.

Is your computer working, now? If so, don't worry about it. :)
