I assume you're still living with your parents and don't have to worry about bills, otherwise this issue wouldn't be coming up at all. If you can afford it and don't need money for anything else, go for it and stop wasting bandwidth asking ATOT.

lol @ encryptic. I've lived for 2 yrs on my own......I just moved back in 2 months ago.

I am only questioning the supposed quality of this concert..answer it or stop wasting bandwidth castigating on ATOT.
 
The concert sucks. I don't like any of the bands except J5 so the concert sucks.

Ah so. Well, I personally don't listen to any of the bands headlining so I can't say whether it's worth going or not. If you like any of them and feel like spending the money, then do it, I say. 😀

If it were Soundgarden or Chris Cornell solo, I'd lean towards yes. But I just haven't gotten into Audioslave yet, even after a half-dozen listens to the CD. And the others are meh to me -- I don't hate JA, Queens, etc., but I don't like them enough to have any of their CDs
 
I went and I totally thought it was worth it. Of course, I didn't pay to get in....


To be honest with you, I never would have CONSIDERED going if I had to pay 90 some dollars for a ticket. T-Shirts were THIRTY DOLLARS EACH, everything there was WAYYYY over priced (no, I really didn't expect much less). You could go to a local radio station festival for about 20 bucks and see bands that make one good album instead 😉


The highlight of the show I went to was Audioslave doing a cover of "Seven Nation Army". Just download that and anything REALLY worth going for has been covered.
 
QOTSA actually wasn't as good as I had imagined them to be in my head...J5, Incubus, Audioslave were all great, and I never listened to much of Jane's Addiction, so I didn't know their music....but Perry really had the crowd going, so it was fun.

Granted, when I bought tickets, money wasn't really a concern, so I guess it depends on how much you like the bands...the other stages and attractions place were fun too. (sooooooo many video games....too bad there was a concert going on)

I haven't gone to a concert in years...when i was a kid i was enticed into going only to christian concerts..kinda pissed ithat i missed the 'good stuff"...Alice in chains comes to mind..


Anyways i went to one this weekend and can't get enough...i'm basically looking for that 'killer' concert.....i like the music they will be playing..so hopefully it will be good
