I bought the fullscreen version instead of the widescreen of A Beautiful Mind. Sonuva.....grrrrrr. Now, at some point, I'll have to make my way back to the store that, with traffic, is alot farther away than 7 miles, to return.

I recently returned from a hardware store with an extension cord only to find the plug from the appliance was three pronged. ah heck.

Same thing happened to me with scary movie 2, and when I proceeded to take it back to BestBuy for a simple exchange, they asked for my adress, telephone number, full name, umm not happining. So I filled out a bunch of false information, you know, my old phone #, a 2 number area code, 123 fake street, (lol soooo bad!) and was on my way, after 30 minutes! :frown: GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME OR YOU PAY! 🙂

What do you concider recent? 10 years ago? I haven't seen an extension cord longer than 6' being sold with only 2 prongs. You must have tried to get a 2 prong'er 😛

Don't you hate how hard it is to find 3-pronged extension cords? Most times, all I can find are the bright orange outdoor ones! :|

Where? I can never find anything except for 2 prong ones (except for the orange ones). RadioShack has good cheap white ones, but they're always sold out. It's amazing that I live in the largest city in the US and can't find a modern extension cord when I really need one.

Hell, I worked at HD, and the ONLY cords we sold that were 2 prongs were 6' green ones and we only sold them at christmas time for lights.

I guess NY is way behind the rest of the world in electircal standards 😛

I did the same thing with The Bourne Identity. Unfortunately the store that I bought it from is 3 hours away lol...and I only realised that when the DVD had been unpacked.

But at least, it had a 14$ rebate for tickets for the Bourne Supremacy. I paid the DVD 23$ and saved 14$ so it's not bad, a DVD for 9$... I'm speaking canadian dollars here.
