DAMNIT!! I hate it when my XP install goes f|_|x0red...

I installed Zone Alarm last night, and for some reason things have been going haywire today. Since ZA was the last thing that i've installed, i decided to uninstall, but i still get errors that kick me out of every game i play. SOO, i try System Restore-- no luck. What else can i possibly do? I tried checking my system for viruses through Trend's Online Scanner, but i always get that revised, XP bsod. It's not what i think it might be, could it?

Sounds like a memory issue actually. More details on the hardware are needed.

just out of curiosity, did you do a fresh install of xp or was it an upgrade? i have had nothing but problems with upgrading, but things work fine when it's a fresh install.

It was a fresh install, none of that upgrade crud near my comp I figured it was the ram too, so i backed off the aggressive timings in the BIOS. That seemed to do the trick, *hopefully*
