The radio station here is giving Eagles tickets away from their concert here and you have to be caller 15 when a Eagles song is played so I hear the song playing and I give the station a call and they say "Sorry you are caller 16" I was like Damn. Man this sucks.
 
I used to work at a radio station - a loooooooong time ago - we used to say that to every caller, just for the heck of it. Don't take it personally.

you've got to know NOBODY wins the tickets.....it's just a big scam, and they have random employees scream wildly about how they won into the microphone, and that was that

O well Screw you. I just learned that we have 4 of them . So I will win these and sell them for 100% more 🙂. We also have 4 more to another show and will inflate the Price. It's Great!

My sister and her then-boyfriend (now husband) won tickets for 2 to London, tickets to some big concert there, and all expenses/spending money for the trip from some Portland OR radio station. Damn.
 
Sound excited if they talk to you. Some stations give them to people that are freaking out on the air. It sounds better than having some mono-toned dork on the air.
