I decided to get back into biking and bought a used Cannondale R800 off eBay last week. I paid and the seller shipped via UPS. So far so good...

Everyday I log onto the UPS site and track my package and read the sad sad words... "Expected Delivery Date: May 23rd" :|

Since the moment I decided to start looking for bikes I have been jonesing to go for a ride. I had to wait while I did a little research into what bikes I should consider and how much I should pay. I had to wait until I beat all the snipers and won an auction. And now I have to wait for that damn brown truck to go from California to New Jersey. It's going to get worse when my shoes, helmet, gloves and shirt arrive in the mail tomorrow and I have to stare at them while refreshing the tracking info every 5 minutes...

Get all the bike gear on and walk around the neighbourhood singing "I'm too sex for bike" and do pelvic thrusts at the ladies saying "look at my package"

I just paid the $50 shipping charge in the auction not realizing it was going to take over a week to get here... :|

Damn - still shows up as being in CA... 🙁

Chances are, on Tuesday morning, I will be dressed in full riding kit standing on the sidewalk mumbling "gimme gimme gimme" to myself until the truck shows up...
