Is it just me or are all the extra buttons on the MX mice useless?? Those top ones... how are you suppose to reach them? Do the folks at Logitech have tentacles in their palms? And the side ones? You have to lift your thumb far upward to use them. Terrible design.

I personally think the layout's near perfect! It's so convinient for me to navigate with the extra buttons, I hate going back to normal mice. I'm thinking about getting in on the MX Duo in HD, so I can put this current 700 upstairs on the family computer :)

I like the keyboard, I just hate this god awful Itouch software that makes my computer take 5 minutes to shutdown :|

While it sucks for gaming (which doesn't matter to me since I stopped) I love the feel of the Wireless Intelimouse Explorer:cool:

You don't happen to have small hands do you?

The MX700 is definately made for large handed individuals, the thumb buttons are perfect for me, and the ony button on top that is akward is the one that switches between programs. I love this mouse.

Excuse me. I hate to admit it but I have small hands and feet and.....................

I love the Logitech size and feel. Microsoft mice are HUGE compared to them. Also tell me why the 700 is not good for gaming??? Best yet.

My tip to you guys: Dont use Logitechs software and all will be well.

Just wanted to chime in here. I am currently using an IBM active response keyboard and an old MS Optical Intellimouse. While it feels cheap it works great and fits my hand ok. I just built a computer for a friend and got her the MX Duo. Its really nice. From plugging it in and installing the software it works great. The MX 700 games well and lasts a good while before needing to be charged (not to mention it recharges quickly). I too cannot reach to thumb buttons well, while on my MS mouse they are perfect. I actually like how Logitech did it on the MX 310.

I love my logitech mx500 (just a corded mx700). The two sided buttons are perfect for browsing and the feel is perfect. Great for gaming too. DO NOT INSTALL THE LOGITECH DRIVERS/ITOUCH!!!!!!!!!!! It slows things down bigtime and can actuallly cause problems in some apps, like the scroll wheel not working (big problem in some games). You can't remap buttons, but just let windows use it's default usb mouse driver.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I disagree. I find that the side buttons are quite nice and I occasionally use the extra top buttons. I also have an MS Explorer at work which is also a nice mouse, but I think I like the MX700 better. First wireless mouse that I have found that is truly a replacement for the wired mouse. I love the thing.

I'm assuming that was accidental?
