Reminds me the other day, the escalator was broken at the train station, so....it was just stairs. So I'm walking side by side with a crackberry user, who was not looking up, and he froze like a deer in the headlights upon seeing the stairs-not-escalator. He just stood there for a minute, not knowing what to do. Hilarium.
