It seems like every time I play a game in this series, I have to play the whole thing in one day.

Being the genius that I am, I started it at 11:30PM.

It is now 2:34AM, and I really need to go to bed.

Valve makes caffine in a software form.

yes, the game is shorter than you expect. But never the less... I couldn't ask for a better way to waste 5+ hours :)

I enjoyed it. Not that long, but if you're willing to pay another...wht, $20 for 5-6 more hours of HL-2, then yes.

Now that 3800 X2 are a little cheaper... I should get myself a mid-level gaming comp and get back into the games :D

Slight topic change, but has anyone played "The Ship" yet? I was gonna buy it last night but wanted to know what more people thought about it.

i bought it, played it for a few hours and haven't touched it in like 2 weeks. its a great idea but i don't think it was implemented too well. plus most of the players are idiots and play it like every other fps game and it doesn't work like that.

definitely. episode one is a direct sequel of HL2, and HL2 is a great game.

would my little A64 3200, 6600gt and gig of ram handle this game ok? it seems to handle oblivion ok.

for some reason, this one just hasn't kept my interest. i could hardly put HL2 down while i was playing it, but with this one i seem to play in 15 minute sessions and just get bored. i am now to the point where you are escorting people to the train, anyone know how much is left?

I do have to try and force myself to stop playing HL2 games sometimes, instead of playing them in one sitting. Really well made games, it's like an amusement park ride kinda...one where you shoot a lot of people. I think i might be a little disgruntled if i paid $20 for it, even though it's a great start to a series of sequels. Glad i got it for $8 that one day at circuit city, hope the same thing happens with Episode 2.
