He has 10 points on 4/5 shooting and 6 rebounds. It's not even the end of the first quarter yet.

GS doesn't have good players at the center spot.

But Yao has to come up big more of the time in the 4th qtr when it matters.

And he needs to catch the ball, throw it back out (while adjusting his post further deep) then have the ball passed back to him, for a now closer shot, all within 5 seconds.

This is what Shaq does all the time, catch, feel, toss out, push in, get the ball back... finish.

4qtr matters....
Same can be said of a good many players in the league.... Stephen Marbury is another one... 20mill a yr. For what.

Don't care if he 'avg's' 20 per game when some games are 28 pts, other games are 9 pts.

Anyway, nobody can compare to a freak bodytype like shaq or Garnett... but Yao should be a 22pt scorer and command more offensive phyiscal fear in the paint than he currently does.

Thanks a lot Patrick Ewing, Asst. coach... What's Pat teaching Yao, how to be unclutch?

I rather hire Walton as a consultant.

Yao pwned us last night.

But inevitably we choked once again. We should've fouled him when he had the ball on that inbound pass right before OT started.

Inspector Jihad, you are not allowed to post in basketball threads, remember?

You are the guy who thinks Ron Artest is an all-star player on offense, remember? You thought he was being respectful with his idiotic banter last week, remember?

No hoops for you!

he's not? name one basketball analyist that doesnt think so? And then name the ones that do think so?

And yes I think he did the right thing...he wanted out and said that he wanted out. He dint critisize anyone...he said his coach was great but he just dint feel he fit in there. He also said he wants the ball more, which i think they definetly should cause he does have a mismatch pretty much every time...he's too big for the SFs and too fast for the power forwards.

Ron Artest is an all-star player. He is good despite some issues. Also Yao Ming is awesome.

I agree with that, RA is an allstart caliber player.
What I don't believe right now is that he is an all-star player on offense.

Yao light Sonics up last night too. Slow start, but finished strong. Too bad he can't bang like Ewing.

He can, he just gets called for the foul. Yao has probably the thickest legs in the history of the NBA

heh heh heh...

Did we read this reply right...
You want to bring in 'analyist' judgement for and against?

okay so AR is a allstar offensive player because there isnt a 'analyist' that doesn't say so while there is a list that says AR is.

Nice, and I'm sorry but where's your 'own' opinion as opposed to 'TV opinions' as you say, for which you mommy doesn't yet already know about?

Yet you bark that I was making comments about Yao that come from a Sports Show, claiming i was not making comments stemming from myself. Nice, mallaka.
