Damn widsom teeth keepin me up

Stupid teeth..got them out Monday....I just woke up, my face is so swollen I can hardly close my mouth without biting the inside of my mouth. Argh

I feel for you. I had my four removed many years ago while I was awake for the surgery. I think the worst part about the whole thing was trying to eat later in the day. Everything mashed and your mouth numb. I know alot of the mush got out of my mouth no matter how hard I tried.
For those who have not had their wisdom teeth taken out, but are going to have it done. Ask to be awake for the procedure. It will give you something to laugh about after the pain goes away.

Lucian - yea, eating was interesting the first day...my entire mouth was still numb, I had to use my other hand to guide the spoon in, otherwise I'd miss I was asleep when it happened...first time I ever had that...I was so disoriented when i woke up I didn't know what was goin on

ace31216 - thanx The swelling is supposed to peek at 48 hours, which is about noon today...should be better after that.

dang!..hardcore!...i hated dealing with having my wisdom teeth taken out...had all 4 taken out, 2 at one time, then 1 out each month after that cuz each of the 1 were impacted, totally under the gum and perpendicular to the rest of my teeth...*OUCH*...was on liquid diet for quite a while cuz couldn't chew at all...

That sucks. I didn't have any problem with getting mine removed. I didn't even take any pain medication.
