everytime i shave, i always manage to cut myself?!?! anyone else have this problem? :disgust:
btw, i'm talking about my face. but u can answer regarding other body parts too 😛

Well my skin is like prone to cuts or something because it gets so dry after shaving...so generaly its sensitive i guess...but yeah i do get cut almost every time..but most of them are lil tiny things u cant see , just a red spot of blood but its gone fast...

Does anyone remember that spoof Mad TV did of the Mach 3 called the Mach 20? LOL

BTW I rarely cut myself, move the razor up/down not left /right 😉

My secret is to shave in the shower. Just get a hand-held mirror and you're all set. And shave at the end of the shower, so that all the water/steam gets your face nice and pliable. And only shave 3-4 times on each razor head. Keep changing to new ones and you'll get cut less often. Well, this works best for me, YMMV. 😉

hehe, I had the same problem. I solved it by using Noxema cleansing cream instead of shaving cream, and a Gillette Mach 3 Razor. Now I get a smoothe shave as well as a remedy to post shave burning.

nope. I very rarely cut myself ever when shaving. Always shave down and use some foam. I'd say I've only cut myself about 5x max ever.

I cut myself almost every time I shave too. I think it has somethin to do with sensative skin. I use some of the shaving gel crap and a nice razor, not a mach, but nice.

Mach 3 sucks, IMO. Its too flexible. I push pretty firmly on my face when I shave..I dunno thats just me.

I remember one time I was late for a date and shaved dry. I still remember the look of horror on the chick's mom when she opened the door for me. 🙂

i quit shaving and grew a beard
i cut it with hair clippers every couple of months, just so i don't get looking exactly like Ted Kaczynski :Q

Norelco 5801 XL - it's the best thing ever to happen to my face. I have really heavy and dark facial hair, and while it doesn't shave as close as a regular blade razor, it doesn't irritate my face AT ALL. There was a 3-week time where my face got a bit red when I first started using it, but ever since then, it's been awesome. I'll never go back to blades.

i dont think i have ever cut myself shaving

I use a manual double sided blade, and it's damn near impossible to cut myself. I don't know why. I have to shave every day, sometimes twice. Maybe you are waiting too long between shaving ?

yeah, thats what i'm talking about... this tiny red spots. they annoy the heck outta me.

Every couple of days, I'll nick myself. I've never done any real damage, just a little cut that bleeds for a couple of minutes. Never anything serious. I think I just shave too quickly...

You must not be shaving enough. After about five shaves, my face became tougher than a rhino. Also, get some sunlight exposure at least once a day (20 minutes should suffice). My hair also became tougher to cut, but I started using a Mach3 Turbo and it seems to work well. Additionally, if you shave your head, try the
Headblade. It works very well for me.

EDIT: at least, not at elast. 🙂
